16X16X16 LED Cube Display
| This Array Driver is designed for the 16X16X16 LED Cube made by the team I led during Summer 2011. Since there are 4096 LEDs we need to control, it makes perfboard solution almost impossible to make due to the huge workload and reliabilities. All 256 inputs are driven by 8 bits shift registers + NPN transistor array, all 16 outputs are driven by 16NPN transistor + 16 NMosfet and 2 4017 decade counters, the size of board is 20cm by 20cm. |
